MKML carried out a health education and advocacy campaign at CATUC Bamenda, focused on promoting voluntary blood donation and raising awareness about its life-saving importance. The event brought together students, staff, and community members in a shared effort to support healthcare systems and save lives.

Centred on the impactful slogan, “One pint of blood can save up to three lives,” the campaign highlighted how a simple act of donating blood can make a significant difference for patients in urgent need of medical care. Participants were educated on the process, safety, and benefits of blood donation, and on common misconceptions that often discourage potential donors.

The outreach created a platform for meaningful engagement, encouraging individuals to take responsibility for community health and become active contributors to life-saving efforts. Through this initiative, My Kidney My Life continues to strengthen awareness, promote preventive health practices, and inspire actions that directly impact lives.
